Boutique Hotel Texel

A. Prices
  • All our room rates are per room per night based on 2 persons per room, unless otherwise stated.
  • All prices include breakfast and use of Spa Woolness (if the room reservation is made directly with the hotel), excluding tourist tax and municipal fees, unless otherwise stated in the package or offer.
  • Reservations are subject to a €3.10 tourist tax per person per night.
  • Children 0-2 years €15 per night
    Children 3-11 years €35 per night
    Children 12+ years €65 per night.
    The child is considered an additional person in the parents' room.
  • Boutique Hotel Texel reserves the right to change above named prices.
     

B. Pets

  • Pets are only allowed in designated rooms.
  • Pet-friendly rooms can be reserved upon request via info@hoteltexel.com.
  • One pet is allowed per pet-friendly room.
     

C. Agreement upon Booking

  • By making your reservation, you agree to the Uniform Conditions. The Uniform Conditions for the Hospitality Industry (UVH) are the conditions under which hospitality businesses based in the Netherlands, such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, and related businesses, provide services and enter into hospitality agreements. D. In and Around the Hotel

  • Check-in from 14:00. Check-out before 11:00 (early check-in or late check-out possible upon request and with a supplement).
  • Smoking is not allowed in the entire hotel. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
  • Elevator available.
  • Free Wi-Fi.
  • Free parking.

Spa Woolness

 

 

A. Entry to Spa Woolness
Access to Spa Woolness is at your own risk. Boutique Hotel Texel is not liable for any damage or complaints resulting from a visit to Spa Woolness.

 

B. Treatments
Boutique Hotel Texel provides space to a number of independent entrepreneurs in the field of beauty and well-being. Boutique Hotel Texel is not liable for any damage and/or complaints resulting from treatments received at one of the salons. Enjoying a treatment with one of the specialists at Spa Woolness is at your own risk. Please make sure you are aware of possible contradictions before you book your treatment. 

 

As a guest, we kindly ask you to inform the specialist about any allergies, pregnancy, or medical conditions before undergoing a treatment. This helps us provide a safe and tailored experience.

 

If you experience any complaints following a treatment, Please report this in writing within 48 hours. 

 

C. Cancellation and/or Modification of Treatments

  • Cancellations and/or rescheduling of a spa treatment can be done free of charge up to one day (24-hours) before the treatment.
  • A cancellation is only considered valid when made by phone or email and is confirmed by the hotel.
  • If you cancel the treatment on the day itself, 100% of the treatment cost will be charged.

 

D. Complaint Handling

  • The guest must report any complaints about the provided service directly after discovery, but no later than within 48 hours, to the company, so that the company can address the complaints. Complaints must then be confirmed in writing by the guest to the company within 7 days.

  • Other complaints regarding the execution of the agreement must also be reported directly after discovery, but no later than 14 days after delivery of goods or services, in writing to the company.

  • If a complaint is not reported to the company within the aforementioned time frames, the goods are deemed to have been received in good condition, and the service is considered to comply with the agreement. In that case, no claims can be made based on applicable shelf life or the agreed-upon warranty.

E. Lost Items
Spa Woolness and Boutique Hotel Texel are not liable for any loss or theft of personal items or valuables brought by guests and do not accept liability for injury to persons and/or damage to goods.

 

Spa Woolness and Boutique Hotel Texel use surveillance cameras for the security of guests and staff. We have a maximum retention period of 24 hours for lost items, unless certain footage is needed for the resolution of identified incidents.

 

Cancellation Conditions

Individual reservations

 

If you have made a direct reservation with Boutique Hotel Texel, the following favorable cancellation policy applies:

 

Cancellations and/or changes to your booking can be made free of charge up to 48 hours (2 days) in advance. We consider the arrival time to be 14:00. For example, if you have reserved for arrival on July 6th, you can cancel or change your reservation free of charge until July 4th, 14:00.

 

A cancellation is only valid if it is made by phone or email and confirmed by the hotel and a cancellation conformation has been received by e-mail.

 

If you have booked directly with the hotel, a cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking amount.

 

After 24 hours, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.

 

These favorable cancellation conditions do not apply to bookings made through third-party platforms. In the event of a cancellation for a booking made through a third party, you must contact the company where you have made the hotel reservation.

Cancellation Conditions

If you have made a direct reservation with Boutique Hotel Texel, the following favorable cancellation policy applies:
 

A. What is concerned group?

Group reservations are bookings for more than 12 people or 6 rooms. The booker (the person making the reservation) is considered the main booker by the hotel and is jointly responsible for the reservation.
 

B. Retaining an Option

After receiving the quote, you can place an option on the reservation. This option can be held for up to 14 days. After these 14 days, without a final reservation, the option will automatically expire.
 

C. Cancellation and Modification Conditions for Group Reservations

C.1 - One month before arrival, the entire booking can still be cancelled or moved free of charge.

C.2 - Up to 21 days before arrival, 25% of the total reservation value will be charged.

C.3 - Up to 14 days before arrival, 50% of the total reservation value will be charged.

C.4 - After 14 days before arrival, 100% of the reservation value will be charged.

C.5 - Except for a maximum of 2 rooms, the following cancellation conditions apply: See D.

C.6 - For the rental of the entire location, adjusted cancellation conditions apply.
 

Changes or cancellations can be made free of charge up to 3 months before the reservation. After this, charges will apply.
 

D. Cancellation and Modification Conditions for Room Numbers within the Reservation

D.1 - One month before arrival, room numbers can still be changed free of charge.

D.2 - Up to 48 hours before arrival (14:00), room numbers can be changed free of charge with a maximum of 2 rooms.

D.3 - Up to 24 hours before arrival, 50% of the cancelled room price will be charged.

D.4 - After 24 hours before arrival, 100% of the cancelled room price will be charged.
 

E. Deposit

When the group reservation is confirmed, we ask for a deposit to be paid at least one month before arrival. Options include:
 

E.1 - 100% of the booked rooms.
E.2 - 50% of the reservation value from the quote.
 

The reservation value refers to the total booking, including overnight stays, breakfast, lunches, dinners, breaks, or any other services offered and confirmed by the hotel.

Personal data & privacy

 

As of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies throughout Europe, legislation designed to better protect the privacy of citizens, including our guests. The GDPR replaces the Data Protection Act. The GDPR imposes strict requirements on how we, as a business, handle personal data. Of course, we fully respect these conditions. However, when using a service or making a reservation at Boutique Hotel Texel, Spa Woolness, or Restaurant Gusta, you implicitly agree to our terms and conditions. This also includes the storage of your personal data such as name, address, email address, and phone number for communication regarding our services, services, and your reservation. Boutique Hotel Texel BV will not disclose your information to third parties and will only use this data for making a reservation, providing services, and direct communication. If you object to this, we would appreciate hearing from you, and we will remove your personal data from our system.
